Install guide

Every SLATE KIT download is a .zip. Unzip it first — most apps will not read files still inside the archive.

DaVinci Resolve

  1. Open Project Settings → Color Management.
  2. Click Open LUT Folder.
  3. Paste the .cube files into that folder.
  4. Back in Resolve, click Update Lists.
  5. The looks appear in the LUTs panel on the Color page. Right-click a clip's node → LUTs → SLATE KIT.

PowerGrades: on the Color page, open the Gallery, right-click in the stills area → Import, and select the .drx files.

Premiere Pro

  1. Select your clip and open the Lumetri Color panel.
  2. Open Creative → Look.
  3. Click the dropdown → Browse… and pick a .cube file.
  4. Use the Intensity slider to dial it back.

To load them permanently, copy the files into Adobe Premiere Pro [version]/Lumetri/Looks and restart Premiere.

Final Cut Pro

  1. Select your clip.
  2. In the Effects browser, find Custom LUT and drag it onto the clip.
  3. In the Inspector, set LUT → Choose Custom LUT… and select a .cube file.
  4. Adjust with the Mix slider.

CapCut

  1. Select your clip on the timeline.
  2. Open Adjustment → LUT.
  3. Tap Import and choose a .cube file.
  4. Use the intensity slider to taste.

CapCut mobile: import through the desktop app or the cloud, then sync.
